Curious if anyone has started, or if there’s interest in general, in there being local Facebook groups to share about GoTenna and coordinate local nets/etc. I’d propose “SF East Bay Meshies” for my local group.

Just a question/offer: Would you all like to have a special section of these Mesh Community discussion boards dedicated to regional threads/discussions or are Facebook groups/pages better for what you all are envisioning?

I’m in the Chicago metro area, and would love to see sections set up here. I dropped FB after all the fake news and privacy issues surfaced.

I’m in Chicago western suburbs and vote for sections too. Not on FB…never have and most likely never will.

Seconded for regional sections on Mesh community. Here and one or two owners’ forums are about all I do for social media.
Also, what’s the policy on putting thread links in imeshyou map node descriptions? The use for this is so people exploring the map can find other Mesh users easier through Mesh Community regional discussions.
