It’s worth looking at, as it gives some options in shaping the resulting coverage maps. It might be rather intimidating to use if you’re not comfortable with radio terminology. It’s not as intuitive as others I’ve used. The proof is in the pudding, though. I’ll try it and compare the output of it and other programs I use then compare to actual results.
Note that you will need to adjust a few things from the defaults to get an accurate outline. The frequency needs to be something like 915 MHz and the output power needs to be 1 watt (0.5 watt in Europe, etc) for instance…
