Quick question. If my Mesh is on, and unpaired from my phone (IE left in my car), but NOT in relay mode, will it still repeat signals?

Whenever the GTM is on it relays. Relay mode shuts down Bluetooth to save energy to extend battery life.
A car acts like a Faraday cage to trap radio signals. If it’s got a body made of fiberglass or plastic, then this isn’t the case, but those are relatively rare cases. Other than that, the glass window area of the car tends to determine how much signal gets out. If you want the GTM to work well like this, it needs to be positioned to take advantage of being able to get out via the glass.
