How many of you are currently invested into cryptocurrency? This seems to be the only means of exchange during a lights out scenario. How prepared are you?
Cyrptocurrency has some possibilities in helping manage and incentivize mesh networks.
On the other hand, since cryptocurrency depends on the internet, having the internet go down would seem to present, errr, certain issues.
My basic understanding is that mesh-based cryptocurrencies have some sort of internet back door to manage the blockchain, but I’m in general pretty clueless about blockchain stuff. I’m usually worried enough about having enough real money that having to worry over cryptocurrency is not a priority on my agenda.
