Assuming everyone turns on their GoTenna mesh civilian models, does or can the Pro version utilize the civilian mesh network? Does the Pro version only work with other GoTenna Pro’s?
Both use Aspen Grove and similar encryption schemes, but the Pro utilizes a wide variety of frequencies vs the GTM using only the 900 Mhz ISM band. If the ISM band happens to be among the frequencies that the Pro can turn to, then it might be possible…but a quick check of the specs shows it’s not. The Pro operates on 142 to 175 MHz and 445 to 480 MHz.
