Hey, that is awesome to see! Fairbanks would be great for a mesh network. What we have found in Anchorage so for is that if a node is setup in a lower section of town that the signal reach is not very far. With Fairbanks being mostly flat the key would be to try and get a node on a taller building or a tower, this will for sure increase your range right from the start. Most of the people that I have chatted with up here love the idea of a mesh network but most of them are only using the gotenna when they are out camping or hunting. It has been hard to get a group really interested in reaching out and building up the city function of the network. I will admit I use the GoTenna a bunch in the back country but have not had the best of luck with the city range.
