Northeast LA goTenna Net - Monday Nights, 6:30 - 7:30pm

Tonight with the aid of a drone, we were able to host a goTenna net to some degree.
At least 7 people attempted to particpate in the net with successful communications with at least 3 of them from my location approximately 3.5 miles away.

The drone was about to get above the hill and relay down to the community participating but stuck behind a ridge.
We conducting these nets every Monday between 6:30 and 7:30pm using the Emergency Chat function.
The plan is to push out more goTenna mesh units into the community and push a few more strategicaly placed relay nodes to get over the hills that separate us.

More pictures to follow.

@LAFD_CERT_Battalion2 Are you involved in the response to the Santa Paula/Ventura fire? Looks like it’s spreading fast.

Just got a call about the Sunland/Tujunga fire that broke out this morning. LAFD is requesting CERT call-out, all hands on deck.
