I got my Tenna Mesh for a grid-down situation or when hiking in the mountains in Maine.
I’m Kate, I always seem to be in areas with no service, and communicating can be important when traveling the backcountry. I’m also a member of the YCSO Jeep posse in AZ. This will help us stay connected with each other when out on missions which can save lives or at a minimum, keep us safe and informed of ever-changing circumstances.
Interested in short and long range com’s. Emergency and outdoor com’s. Currently use a Motorola T800 radio with app. Want to learn about Mesh and how it works. Glad to join this group of Mesh users.
Hi I’m Peter, from Baudcom, I’m very interested in telecommunications and is now working in this industry. I’m here to learn more about goTenna, what it is and how to use it.

Hi. In 2012 my friend discharged from the US Army after having been in SIGINT and he asked me if we could make something like this at the Electric Forest music festival when we couldn’t send messages to each other because of the sheer volume of people using devices. We never went anywhere with the idea and I went about my life and became a software engineer. I bought one of the originals in 2015 when it won gear of the year, and a Mesh when it came out. I live in Seattle where the MOAN is but I have yet to hear back from anyone from any of the other Nodes. My gf and I live in nearby buildings and leave ours on but nobody ever replies to the public chat. Is something wrong? I am also interested if the JavaScript API was ever built out for this because there are things I would like to do with them. I mountaineer but I never carry it. I use Rocky Talkie for multipitch but I still am interested in this device… it’s plugged into an unobtrusive USB socket right now, but nobody is ever responding on the public or even the SOS channel… Anybody out there?
