As an ISR sensor operator, I work in a field that places me in very remote locations.
I was wondering if the goTenna has an application that is compatible with laptops?
If there goTenna has an application for laptops or is compatible with laptops, would it be able to function with a range of 10,000 km+ ?
Highly interested in this product as it could be a viable route for us to use commercially.
@Nevetsrage goTenna currently works with phones that can run Android OS 4.3 and above or iOS 9.0 and above.
In terms of range, the current record is 30 km.
It is not possible to achieve 10,000 km+ range with goTenna Mesh.
Any chance a PC app or Win 7 tablet app would come out? Iād love to setup more relays that are connected to a device so someone could ping them.
Once the USB SDK comes out(hopefully very soon) we will be able to make apps for many devices including PCs. They will use a wired connection rather then Bluetooth.
